Sterile Packaging & Inspection Operator – Multiple Roles

About the role

GSK is hiring several Steriles Operators for its Barnard Castle manufacturing site. The positions are within the Vials and Syringe business unit, covering packaging, inspection and assembly of terminally sterilised products. You will join a production team working in a classified environment and collaborate with colleagues from Production, Quality, Engineering, MSAT and Warehouse.

Key responsibilities

• Complete batch documentation and equipment logs in line with GMP procedures.
• Set up and operate semi‑automatic and fully automatic packaging, assembly and inspection machines.
• Perform critical device and guard checks to ensure safe operation.
• Stage, retrieve and transfer components, containers and finished packs to support the packaging lines.
• Inspect finished packs, conduct visual checks and record findings accurately.
• Prepare, verify and reconcile labels and records to maintain traceability.
• Report and escalate any production, quality or stock discrepancies and assist in problem‑solving.
