Sterile Services Team Leader

About the role

Join STERIS Instrument Processing (IP) as a Sterile Services Team Leader and play a pivotal role in safeguarding patient health. You will lead a dedicated team responsible for the decontamination, assembly, and sterilisation of surgical instruments, ensuring the highest standards of infection prevention.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient decontamination, instrument assembly, and sterilisation processes in line with quality standards.
• Provide direct supervision to guarantee timely delivery of clean and sterile instruments.
• Ensure all operational activities comply with Health and Safety procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain and record department quality assurance documentation according to the QMS.
• Support the Production Manager in planning and operational activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as a member of the management team.

Required profile

• Good general education with strong verbal and numerical abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to teamwork, integrity, flexibility, and accountability.

Required skills

• Basic end‑user IT skills to operate the track‑and‑traceability system.
