Stock Controller

About the role

The Stock Controller will safeguard the integrity of the pharmaceutical supply chain from the Group supplier to UK and Ireland markets. Working three days a week on‑site in Slough, you will ensure that all stock records are accurate, compliant with Good Distribution Practice and aligned with financial data.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and archive all inbound delivery documentation, guaranteeing 100 % GDP compliance.
• Serve as the primary liaison with external distribution partners to facilitate smooth logistics and timely information exchange.
• Perform regular reconciliations between SAP and partner systems, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
• Support supply planning by liaising with Global Headquarters on forecasts and current inventory levels.
• Maintain real‑time stock movement records in Excel and SAP for local management reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a stock control or inventory management role.
• Background in a regulated environment, preferably the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with regulatory documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP stock/inventory modules.
• Advanced Excel skills for data reconciliation and reporting.
• Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements.

What we offer

• Competitive hourly rate of £18‑£20.
• Fixed‑term contract of 3‑6 months, full‑time (Monday‑Friday).
