Stock & Planning Manager

About the role

GXO Logistics is seeking an experienced Stock & Planning Manager to lead inventory strategy and resource planning for a key customer contract in Harlow. This full‑time, permanent position offers the chance to influence operational efficiency and support business growth in a fast‑paced logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of inventory and resource planning, ensuring optimal stock availability, accuracy and distribution.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve stock control processes and planning frameworks.
• Analyse stock performance, demand patterns and operational trends to identify risks and drive improvements.
• Lead, coach and develop the stock and planning team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Manage labour planning and forecasting, aligning resources with volume requirements and budgets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in inventory management, stock control or workforce planning within a fast‑paced logistics or supply‑chain environment.
• Strong leadership capability with experience managing, coaching and developing teams.
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
