Store Manager – Barrow-in-Furness

About the role

Take full ownership of a Co‑op food store in Barrow‑in‑Furness, leading both commercial performance and community impact. This permanent, full‑time position reports to regional leadership and is responsible for delivering an excellent shopping experience while supporting local causes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a diverse team to provide high‑quality customer service.
• Drive sales and profitability using commercial insights and performance data.
• Ensure the store operates safely, legally and efficiently.
• Manage all HR processes, including recruitment, performance reviews and staff development.
• Promote Co‑op membership, local partnerships and community initiatives.
