Store Manager Designate – Retail Leadership Role

About the role

Superdrug is seeking a Store Manager Designate to support multiple stores within a one‑hour radius of Leeds. You will work alongside an experienced Store Manager, gaining exposure to different locations while developing your leadership skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales and service targets across assigned stores.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales, optimise stock range and maintain strict cost control.
• Coach and develop team members to deliver excellent customer service.
• Travel to various stores as required, providing day‑to‑day operational support.

Required profile

• Proven retail experience in roles such as Store Manager, Assistant Manager or similar.
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on meeting KPIs and profit goals.
• Passion for mentoring staff and fostering a positive team environment.
