Store Manager

About the role

As a Store Manager for Costa Coffee in Manchester, you will run the outlet as your own business, overseeing stock, standards, team, labour and customers. You will be responsible for delivering an excellent coffee experience while driving sales and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Own all controllable costs through effective management of stock, labour, cash and training.
• Monitor and act on store KPI reports, Costa Check and Listen and Learn data to identify trends and growth opportunities.
• Inspire, coach and develop the team to reach their full potential.
• Maintain health and safety standards and ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
• Recruit, schedule and manage staff to deliver fast, friendly service.

Required profile

• Passion for coffee and people.
• Management experience, preferably in a fast‑paced retail or hospitality environment.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to maximise sales opportunities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to brand standards.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and lead a team at speed.
