Store Manager

About the role

As the Store Manager you will lead the planning, strategy and day‑to‑day operations of a busy ASDA supermarket. You will ensure product availability, minimise waste and shrink, and maintain a safe, efficient environment for customers and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational plans to improve trading activity on the shop floor.
• Monitor and drive key performance metrics such as availability, waste, shrink and sales.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and retail standards.
• Lead, coach and motivate the leadership team and front‑line staff.
• Implement POS best practices and deliver strong value messaging to customers.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and act on them promptly.
