About the role

Hot Topic is looking for a Store Manager to lead its Leeds outlet. You will be responsible for delivering an engaging in‑store experience that reflects music and pop‑culture fandom while meeting sales objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets and comparable store performance.
  • Recruit, develop and retain a collaborative team.
  • Drive customer engagement through social media, store apps and clienteling.
  • Maintain operational excellence, including shrink control, payroll, scheduling and loss prevention.
  • Analyze sales reports and use data to shape strategy.
  • Merchandise the store according to planograms and launch promotions on schedule.
  • Mentor staff, provide feedback and recognize performance.

Required profile

  • 1‑2 years of retail store management experience.
  • High school diploma or GED; a degree is a plus.
  • Strong communication, recruiting and operational skills (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising).
  • Ability to adapt to a fast‑changing retail environment.
  • Interest in pop‑culture, music trends and fandoms.
  • Physical ability to handle merchandise up to 50 lb.
