About the role

Footasylum is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead its Swindon outlet. You will be responsible for driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and developing a high‑performing team in a fast‑paced fashion retail environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Maximise in‑store sales and achieve profitability targets.
  • Ensure excellent customer service to build loyalty and repeat business.
  • Monitor stock levels, protect profit, and maintain health & safety standards.
  • Oversee merchandising, visual displays and store layout to stimulate interest.
  • Manage HR duties, including recruitment, training, and fair treatment of staff.
  • Control day‑to‑day expenses and manage P&L performance.

Required profile

  • Passion for fashion retail and alignment with Footasylum values (Community, Collaborate, Challenge).
  • Proven leadership experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly.
  • Organised with a customer‑first mindset.
