Store Manager – Launch New Retail Store in London

About the role

Vilgain, a Czech‑based lovebrand focused on food, health and lifestyle, is opening its first UK store in London. We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead the launch, build a high‑performing team, and create an inviting atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.

Key responsibilities

• Open and manage the new London store, ensuring all operational processes are in place.
• Recruit, train, schedule and motivate a team of retail staff.
• Oversee product ordering, freshness checks, stock replenishment and loss prevention.
• Maintain visual standards, cleanliness and overall store ambiance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, offering product recommendations and health‑focused advice.
• Analyse sales data and commercial metrics to drive performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience leading a retail store.
• Proven sales ability and strong commercial understanding.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on presentation and accuracy.
• Leadership style that leads by example and fosters team ownership.
