Store Manager – Outdoor Retail

About the role

Rohan Designs is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead its Cambridge shop. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining the high standards of an outdoor clothing retailer.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales targets by assisting customers in product selection and purchase.
• Create, manage and adjust staff rotas, covering shifts and holidays.
• Train, motivate and support sales staff on selling procedures and product knowledge.
• Maintain store merchandising standards, stock levels and visual presentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven retail management experience, preferably in the outdoor industry.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coach and develop team members.
