Store Manager – Retail Convenience

About the role

As a Store Manager for Morrisons Daily you will run a busy convenience store as if it were your own business. You will be the champion of the local community, ensuring the store is the best place to work and shop.

Key responsibilities

• Drive commercial performance by seeking innovative ways to increase sales and manage costs.
• Lead the team to deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience in line with the Morrisons brand promise.
• Oversee recruitment, induction, training and ongoing development of all staff.
• Maintain operational standards, health & safety and compliance to keep the store safe and efficient.
• Build strong relationships with the local community and act as a local champion.
• Work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends, to meet business needs.

Required profile

• Proven ability to inspire, motivate and develop a retail team.
• Hands‑on attitude with willingness to work alongside staff on daily tasks.
• High personal resilience and ability to adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the capacity to influence stakeholders.
