Store Manager – Retail Leadership

About the role

Machine Mart is seeking an energetic Store Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of its Marsh Barton Trading Estate store. You will work up to 45 hours per week, with any extra time either paid or taken as time off in lieu.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all store activities, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Lead, coach and motivate a team of 4‑6 staff members.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience and provide honest product advice.
• Achieve challenging sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Maintain accurate cash handling, stock control and basic computer systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a small retail or field‑sales team.
• Managerial background in a hard‑goods environment.
• Track record of meeting sales targets and KPIs.
• Confident, enthusiastic and driven with a desire to develop yourself and your team.
• Strong numeracy, accuracy and basic computer literacy.
