As a Store Manager at Halfords you will lead a retail team in Workington, delivering an exceptional in‑store experience that reflects the company’s core values. The fast‑paced environment requires you to adapt daily while keeping the team motivated and focused on customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing store team, fostering a professional selling culture.
• Maintain high standards of service, health & safety, GDPR and retail compliance.
• Spend the majority of time on the sales floor, actively participating in daily operations.
• Drive sales performance, monitor KPIs and achieve targets to enhance the store’s reputation.
• Manage inventory, merchandising and visual standards to optimise commercial results.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Store Manager in a retail environment.
• Strong organisational abilities and a track record of building trust‑based relationships.
• Demonstrated success in meeting sales and service targets.
• Experience recruiting, developing and leading teams.
• Commitment to health & safety, GDPR and retail legislation compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
