Store Manager – Retail Leadership Role

About the role

This is a senior retail leadership position with a fast‑growing discount FMCG retailer. You will have full autonomy to run the store as your own business, making commercial decisions that directly impact performance and profitability. Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for store performance, sales and profitability.
• Lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing store team.
• Deliver exceptional customer service standards at all times.
• Manage recruitment, training, coaching and succession planning.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to drive improvements.
• Ensure excellent stock control, merchandising and product availability.
• Maintain high standards of store presentation and regulatory compliance.
• Control labour costs through effective scheduling.
• Drive local initiatives to increase footfall and sales.
• Uphold health and safety procedures throughout the store.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a retail leader in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commercially minded with a track record of achieving sales and profit targets.
• Strong people‑management skills, able to inspire and develop teams.
• Ability to make autonomous operational and commercial decisions.
• Focus on delivering excellent customer experience.
