Stores and Distribution Coordinator

About the role

The Stores and Distribution Coordinator ensures essential medical and housekeeping equipment is always available by maintaining stock levels, processing deliveries and supporting the procurement team. The role works closely with managers and staff across the Trust to keep supplies flowing efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, log and track all incoming goods, including cleaning materials and pharmaceutical items.
• Maintain accurate stock records, place orders for stores and residential houses, and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Assist users with order processing in the order management system and resolve purchase‑order queries.
• Perform regular and annual stock checks and make site‑wide deliveries of medical and housekeeping goods.
• Place orders with suppliers for stationery, NHS items, uniforms and review Amazon Business orders.
• Review purchase orders and invoice registers to ensure timely processing and closure.
• Provide reciprocal support to the logistics team during leave or sickness.
• Undertake ad‑hoc duties such as bed‑extension training when required.

Required profile

• Experience in goods inwards, stock management and procurement processes.
• Ability to liaise effectively with managers and staff across a large organisation.
• Attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping and stock rotation.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Tadworth and support the wider logistics team.
• Eligibility to work in the UK (role is not open to sponsorship).
