Stores & Logistics Coordinator (Temporary Full-time)

About the role

We are seeking a Stores & Logistics Coordinator to join a busy, well‑established operation in Braintree. This ongoing temporary full‑time role involves hands‑on work across stores, dispatch and international logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving and counting stock items, inputting details accurately onto the in‑house system
• Packing, unpacking, and storing items in an organised and accessible manner
• Dealing with and resolving any stock‑related issues
• Carrying out regular stock checks and physical inventory counts
• Completing daily stores, goods‑in, and dispatch tasks
• Issuing and distributing materials, parts, and supplies to the workshop from requisitions
• Researching freight costings and obtaining quotations
• Organising dangerous goods shipping in line with IATA (air) and IMDG (sea) regulations

Required profile

• Previous experience in a stores, logistics, or warehouse environment
• Strong stock control and inventory management knowledge
• Knowledge of IATA / IMDG dangerous goods shipping
• Forklift licence preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with customers and freight agents
• Competent using computer‑based stock or ERP systems
