About the role
This permanent position is based in Andover and supports a busy production line by picking mechanical parts, managing stock, and controlling waste. The role offers a stable environment with training and development opportunities for a motivated stores professional.
Key responsibilities
- Pick mechanical components for assembly according to production schedules.
- Carry out stock‑taking, replenishment and waste‑control duties.
- Sort incoming goods and store parts in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a stores‑based role, particularly picking parts for assembly.
- Practical, highly motivated and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Organised with a keen eye for detail and a can‑do attitude.
- Eager to undertake training and develop within a mechanical assembly environment.
Required skills
What we offer
- Salary £28,000 – £30,000 per year.
- 31 days holiday and pension scheme.
- Full training and development programme.
- Monday‑Friday, onsite working pattern.
