Stores & Warehouse Operative – Full‑Time

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Stores & Warehouse Operative to join a busy manufacturing site in Sparkford, near Yeovil. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, and involves handling goods, maintaining stock accuracy and supporting the wider factory team.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, check and process incoming and outgoing deliveries.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring safe manual handling.
• Maintain stock records, conduct regular stock takes and perform data entry using company systems.
• Carry out quality checks on dispatched orders.
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
• Assist with wider factory duties when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment is desirable.
• Good numeracy, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
• Own transport is essential.
• Reliable, energetic and a positive team player.

Required skills

• Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £12.71, rising to £13.21 with a valid forklift licence.
• Stable full‑time hours, Monday‑Friday 8:00‑16:30.
