STRAP Project Manager – Defence (24‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a STRAP Project Manager to support a Defence Government Authority project for 24 months. The position is hybrid, with four days on‑site in Corsham and one day remote, offering flexible working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Apply project management practices, methodologies, tools and techniques to deliver project outcomes.
• Plan, schedule, and manage risk and issue registers throughout the contract period.
• Prepare and manage competition documents and produce contract documentation.
• Ensure compliance with highly secured environment requirements (SC/DV/STRAP) and undergo necessary security checks.

Required profile

• Experience working in a highly secured environment (SC/DV/STRAP) and eligibility for security checks.
• Proven project management experience, including use of PM tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of planning, scheduling, risk and issue management.
• Experience drafting competition and contract documentation.
• Background in defence, nuclear or other high‑security sectors is desirable.
