Strategic Account Manager (Healthcare)

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Strategic Account Manager to join a fast‑growing team within a dynamic healthcare and medical‑devices environment. The role is home‑based with regular UK‑wide travel and focuses on building long‑term strategic partnerships, driving customer retention, and uncovering growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain senior‑level relationships across executive, clinical and operational stakeholders.
• Create and execute strategic account plans that align with customer objectives.
• Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design customer‑focused solutions.
• Monitor service performance and champion continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 7+ years of strategic account management or business development experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Proven track record of growing key accounts and delivering measurable value.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities.
• Commercial awareness with strategic thinking capability.
• Experience working in complex, regulated environments.
• Willingness to travel nationally up to 50% and hold a valid UK driving licence.
