Strategic Development Director

About the role

The Strategic Development Director will drive the growth of Lloyds Banking Group’s Intermediary Wealth Platform. Working remotely, you will engage with C‑suite executives of strategic partners, corporate groups and consolidators to secure long‑term relationships that increase assets under administration, revenue and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate and secure multi‑year strategic partnerships across the wealth sector.
• Develop and maintain detailed account plans, contact matrices and strategic business plans for each partner.
• Collaborate with Strategic Client Relationship Managers and Distribution teams to optimise performance and achieve commercial targets.
• Manage marketing agreements, budget spend and ensure delivery of profitability, persistency and margin objectives.
• Oversee corporate governance frameworks for new partners to ensure smooth integration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior business development or partnership roles within financial services.
• Strong track record of building C‑suite relationships and delivering long‑term revenue growth.
• Excellent understanding of wealth management products and distribution channels.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment while influencing cross‑functional teams.
