Strategic Remote Access Project Manager

About the role

This 6‑month contract role supports a global retailer’s Identity Transformation programme. You will lead the delivery of secure remote‑access solutions across corporate, retail and operational technology environments, ensuring scalability, security and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of remote‑access programmes, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Zscaler integrations.
• Define project scope, milestones, governance and architecture artefacts aligned with enterprise security standards.
• Coordinate engineering, security, OT, infrastructure and network teams to achieve delivery targets.
• Manage stakeholders, suppliers, risks, dependencies and RAID logs across multiple workstreams.
• Ensure solutions meet identity, access, compliance, performance and network requirements.
• Support change adoption, operational readiness and transition to BAU support.
• Drive continuous improvement of remote‑access platforms and user experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex infrastructure, identity or remote‑access programmes in large enterprises.
• Strong stakeholder management and governance skills across multiple workstreams.
• Project management certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP.

Required skills

• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployment, architecture and operations.
• Zscaler technologies (ZIA/ZPA) and secure remote‑access solutions.
• Operational Technology (OT) environments and IoT ecosystems.
• Active Directory, Entra ID and Conditional Access.
• Identity and access management, cloud security principles.
