Strategist – Creative Agency

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Strategist to join a vibrant creative agency in Bournemouth. You will help shape brand plans and campaigns that are simple, compelling and grounded in real‑world insight, while inspiring the wider team to think differently.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and shape insightful, simple and compelling brand plans and campaigns.
• Bring clarity and direction to work, actively contributing to creative ideation.
• Inspire teammates across the agency to think and act differently.
• Translate sharp thinking into culturally relevant ideas that get under the skin of a brief.
• Contribute ideas, refine concepts and help land final executions.
• Roll up sleeves and dive into every project, challenge and task as needed.

Required profile

• Strong agency strategy experience.
• Ability to interrogate client briefs, diagnose business problems and define success measures.
• Strategic thinking backed by evidence from brand, audience behaviour, category dynamics and cultural insight.
• Experience applying behavioural science to shape propositions, messaging and activation mechanics.
• Instinct to define a single‑minded strategic thought that guides creative teams.
• Confidence leading activation planning and channel strategy.
• Test‑and‑learn mindset with ability to build measurement and learning plans.
