Strategy Consultant (Food & Consumer)

About the role

We are an independent strategy consultancy focused on the food and consumer sectors, seeking a Strategy Consultant to lead high‑impact strategy engagements and commercial due diligence projects for private‑equity and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commercial and operational due diligence for private‑equity transactions.
• Manage end‑to‑end strategy engagements covering growth strategy, market entry and value creation.
• Structure complex problems and guide teams through market analysis, customer segmentation and competitive assessments.
• Oversee market modelling, commercial analysis and financial scenario testing.
• Synthesise insights into clear strategic recommendations for investment committees and boards.
• Manage project teams and support the development of analysts and consultants.
• Build trusted relationships with private‑equity and corporate clients.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience in strategy consulting, commercial due diligence or transaction advisory.
• Proven track record leading CDD projects or strategic engagements within the food/consumer industry.
• Excellent analytical, modelling and problem‑structuring capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and deliver client‑facing workstreams.
• Strong interest in food, consumer or FMCG sectors.
• Clear, structured communicator who can translate complex analysis into strategic insight.
• Thrives in collaborative, high‑performance environments without aggressive internal competition.
