About the role

Patrick Morgan is seeking a motivated Analyst or Associate‑level Strategy & Value Creation Consultant to support its growing advisory business. The role offers exposure to strategic challenges facing global consulting firms, including AI disruption, talent strategy, M&A, and operating model transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Support strategy, due diligence and value creation engagements for professional services firms and investors.
• Analyse industry trends such as AI, digital transformation, talent dynamics and M&A activity.
• Interview senior leaders to gather executive intelligence and develop market maps.
• Conduct research on the global consulting market and prepare executive‑level presentations.
• Build and maintain databases of firms, executives, investors and market developments.
• Leverage AI tools to improve analytical efficiency and support business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Intellectual curiosity and rapid learning ability.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel proficiency.
• Experience in market research or strategic analysis.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or Gemini.
• Based in the UK (London), US (New York/Austin) or South Africa.
• Undergraduate degree (or in progress) in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, Data Analytics or related field.
• Interest in consulting, professional services, private equity or strategy.
