Structural Engineer

About the role

An established multi‑disciplinary property and construction consultancy is seeking a Structural Engineer to join its growing team in Witney, Oxfordshire. You will deliver practical, sustainable and cost‑effective structural solutions across commercial, education, defence, residential and public projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design practical and economical structural solutions for a variety of building projects.
• Produce structural calculations, technical sketches and design information.
• Carry out structural inspections and surveys and write clear technical reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to deliver coordinated solutions.
• Assist with fee proposals, tender submissions and business development activities.
• Develop long‑term client relationships and ensure compliance with British Standards and building regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Progress towards Chartered Engineer status with ICE or IStructE.
• Experience on new build, refurbishment and alteration projects.
• Knowledge of steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and written communication skills.
