Structural Revit Technician

About the role

An established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Bristol is expanding its building structures team. The role involves producing high‑quality structural Revit models and drawing packages for a variety of residential, commercial and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed structural Revit models and associated 2D drawing packages across multiple sectors.
• Translate engineers' design information into accurate 3D and 2D outputs.
• Perform quality checks to ensure model and drawing accuracy, consistency and presentation standards.
• Support BIM coordination activities, including model reviews, clash detection and participation in project meetings.
• Guide junior technicians, promoting efficient working methods and high technical standards.

Required profile

• Relevant HNC/HND or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a structural engineering technician.
• Strong practical experience with Revit in building structures.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Experience delivering projects across various building types and sectors.
• Understanding of structural systems, construction methods and detailing principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage workload across several live projects.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

• Salary between £38,000 and £45,000 per year, dependent on experience.
