Structured Cabling Engineer – Data Cabling & WiFi Upgrades

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Structured Cabling Engineer to join a national contractor on a short‑term project in Liverpool. You will be responsible for upgrading Wi‑Fi networks and installing new data cabling across existing infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Wi‑Fi network upgrades, adding new wireless access points.
• Install and terminate CAT6 data cabling and associated containment systems.
• Work 8‑hour day shifts, Monday to Friday, adhering to project timelines.
• Maintain site safety and quality standards throughout the assignment.

Required profile

• Valid ECS/Equivalent structured cabling or CSCS card.
• Minimum 2 years experience in the communications/cabling industry.
• Ability to provide work references and proof of right to work in the UK.
• Own PPE and hand tools, including a termination kit and drill.
