Structured Credit Product Controller

About the role

The Structured Credit Product Controller will join the Product Control team in London, providing advisory and valuation support for a range of structured credit instruments. You will work closely with trading desks to understand strategies and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee structured credit products including Credit Default Swaps, credit‑linked notes, total return swaps, structured repos and loans.
• Maintain the offshore P&L production model and act as the on‑shore liaison with the business.
• Perform performance analysis, balance‑sheet substantiation and valuation controls.
• Provide business advisory, independent price verification and reserve calculations.
• Collaborate with trading desks, investment bankers and other finance functions on new product approvals and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of structured credit products and trading strategies.
• Ability to work autonomously and develop deep relationships with front‑office teams.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Credit Default Swaps, credit‑linked notes, total return swaps, structured repos and loan products.
