Student Experience Officer – 9‑Month Fixed‑Term Role

About the role
The University of Plymouth International College (UPIC) is seeking a Student Experience Officer to join its vibrant campus team. This full‑time, 9‑month fixed‑term position supports the delivery of high‑quality student services, finance administration, academic provision and visa compliance for a diverse international student body.
Key responsibilities
- Administer teaching staff records and support enrolment, induction, finance and orientation processes for new students.
- Contribute to an outstanding student experience that meets learning, wellbeing, welfare and safeguarding standards.
- Assist with Student Enrichment and Enhancement Activities, including planning events and supporting the Student Council.
- Prepare and manage student‑related paperwork such as examination board administration, results release, timetabling and invigilation planning.
- Analyse data and review business processes under the direction of the Student Experience Manager to improve operational delivery.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a student‑facing role within a school, college or university environment.
- Understanding of student needs, preferably with experience supporting international students.
- Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.
