Student Experience Officer

About the role
The University of Plymouth International College (UPIC) is seeking a Student Experience Officer to join its vibrant campus team. Working full‑time, you will help deliver an outstanding experience for a diverse community of international and domestic students.
Key responsibilities
- Administer teaching staff involvement in enrolment, induction, finance and orientation of new students.
- Support delivery of student wellbeing, welfare and safeguarding services for undergraduate and postgraduate cohorts.
- Assist with planning and attending student events, Student Council activities and other enrichment programmes.
- Prepare and manage student‑related paperwork such as examination board administration, results release, timetabling and invigilation planning.
- Analyse data and help improve business processes under the direction of the Student Experience Manager.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a student‑facing role within a school, college or university environment.
- Strong understanding of student needs, preferably with international students.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work flexibly in a fast‑changing environment.
