Student Health, Well‑Being and Extra Curricular Co‑ordinator

About the role

The Student Health, Well‑Being and Extra Curricular Co‑ordinator will join the Student Experience team to safeguard and promote the welfare of students. Working closely with the Safeguarding Lead and Head of Student Experience, the role provides timely, student‑centred interventions and support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, effective safeguarding interventions and assessments for students.
• Coordinate referrals and liaise with external agencies, ensuring appropriate support pathways.
• Contribute to information sharing and partnership working in line with LSCB and LSAB procedures.
• Support early‑help and preventative interventions across college departments.
• Help develop and embed safeguarding awareness and best practice throughout the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a safeguarding or pastoral role within an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, thresholds, and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students and external partners.
• Experience delivering training or awareness sessions is advantageous.
