About the role
We are looking for an experienced Student Success Team Lead to join Global University Systems’ support services at the London College of Contemporary Arts. The role focuses on improving student outcomes, retention and wellbeing across the student lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, manage and mentor a team of student success tutors and support coordinators.
- Develop and implement retention and engagement strategies to boost academic performance and wellbeing.
- Coordinate case management for at‑risk students, working with academic staff, disability services and mental‑health teams.
- Monitor team KPIs, prepare regular performance reports and present findings to senior management.
- Design and deliver training, resources and workshops on student support, safeguarding and related procedures.
- Maintain accurate student records in the student information system and ensure compliance with data protection and safeguarding policies.
- Contribute to cross‑functional projects to enhance digital support tools, onboarding processes and overall student experience.
- Drive service improvements using feedback, surveys and student‑voice initiatives.
Required profile
- Degree‑level qualification or equivalent experience in education, social sciences or a related field.
- Minimum two years’ supervisory experience in student services, academic advising or student engagement.
- Proven ability to manage caseloads, conduct risk assessments and coordinate support for diverse student populations.
- Strong knowledge of UK higher‑education frameworks, retention practices and student wellbeing services.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering training.
- Desirable: Master’s degree, PGCE, QTS, coaching/mentoring qualification, or ongoing professional development.
