Subsidence Loss Adjuster (Remote – North East England)

About the role

The Subsidence Loss Adjuster will manage and support all aspects of subsidence claims, from diagnosis and investigation to policy coverage assessment and settlement. This home‑based position covers the North East of England and surrounding counties, working within a collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct physical or video site visits to determine causation of subsidence.
• Work with Subsidence Regional Managers to produce preliminary reports.
• Assess damage, identify probable cause, and interpret policy terms and conditions.
• Perform repair assessment visits and compile scopes of works or tender documents.
• Assist on additional cases and cover other areas as workload and holidays require.

Required profile

• Previous experience handling subsidence‑related losses.
• Ideally holding or working towards MCIOB or MRICS qualifications, or experience as a loss adjuster with subsidence claims.
• Flexible, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
