Summer University Accommodation Cleaner (June‑Sept)

About the role

We are recruiting a team of cleaners to support a major East London university’s student accommodation during the summer months. The role runs from June to September, offering reliable daytime hours and a competitive hourly rate.

Key responsibilities

• Clean bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, corridors and communal areas to a high standard.
• Vacuum, mop, dust and perform general housekeeping tasks.
• Deep‑clean fridges and freezers and handle light laundry such as stripping bedding.
• Support check‑in and check‑out weekends, including bin emptying and restocking supplies.
• Report maintenance issues and use cleaning equipment safely.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role.
• Excellent reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work 25‑30+ hours per week for the full June‑September period.
• Full flexibility to work any day of the week on a rotating roster.
• Good communication skills and a calm, professional approach.
