Superflex Roadside Mechanic – Bournemouth

About the role

The RAC is looking for a Superflex Roadside Mechanic to join its Bournemouth cluster. You will provide fast, flexible roadside assistance to members across Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and surrounding towns, helping drivers get back on the road safely.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to breakdown calls and perform on‑site vehicle repairs.
• Travel to assigned locations using a company‑provided RAC van.
• Maintain accurate service records and report any parts or equipment needs.
• Adhere to health and safety standards while working on public roads.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with at least 2 years’ experience, **or** 5 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 penalty points.
• Ability to work flexible shifts between 06:00 and 02:00, including weekends and bank holidays.
