Superflex Roadside Mechanic – Flexible Shifts in Bromley

About the role

Join the RAC as a Superflex Roadside Mechanic, providing fast, reliable assistance to members across the Bromley cluster. You will work flexible shifts between 06:00 and 02:00, covering a wide local area while enjoying a predictable roster and the support of a fully equipped van.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to breakdown calls and safely return vehicles to the road.
• Diagnose and repair light‑vehicle faults using provided diagnostic tools.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate status updates to members.
• Adhere to health, safety and RAC quality standards on every call.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with at least 2 years’ experience, **or** 5 years’ experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than six penalty points.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, shift‑based environment.
