Superflex Roadside Mechanic – Slough

About the role

The RAC is looking for a Superflex Roadside Mechanic to join its Slough cluster. You will provide fast, flexible roadside assistance to members across Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead and surrounding towns, helping drivers get back on the road safely.

Key responsibilities

• Attend roadside breakdown calls within a defined local area.
• Diagnose vehicle faults using provided diagnostic kit and tools.
• Carry out repairs and part replacements on‑site where possible.
• Maintain accurate service records and update job status in the RAC system.
• Adhere to health‑and‑safety and company quality standards.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with at least 2 years experience, OR 5 years experience as a vehicle technician/mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 penalty points.
• Flexibility to work shifts between 06:00 and 02:00, including weekends and bank holidays.
