Supervising Social Worker – Fostering

About the role

The Supervising Social Worker – Fostering will provide direct support, quality assurance and training to foster parents, ensuring high standards of care for looked‑after children. You will work collaboratively with multi‑disciplinary teams and report on placement outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver supervision and guidance to foster parents.
• Maintain quality assurance standards across placements.
• Provide training for prospective and current foster parents.
• Produce accurate reports and meet strict deadlines.
• Collaborate with social workers, therapists, teachers and other professionals.

Required profile

• Social Care England recognised qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
• Previous experience in children and families social work.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant children’s services legislation.
• Full driving licence with unrestricted access to your own car.
• Enthusiastic, committed and able to work in a multi‑disciplinary environment.

What we offer

• Salary up to £39,500 per annum.
• £3,000 car allowance.
