About the role

Nurture Fostering is looking for a confident and motivated Supervising Social Worker to join our family‑owned fostering agency in Lewisham. You will work within a supportive, close‑knit team to provide high‑quality support to foster carers and children in care.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support foster carers, offering guidance and regular reviews.
• Deliver training opportunities and facilitate support groups for carers.
• Provide direct support to children in care, ensuring their wellbeing and development.
• Collaborate closely with other professionals, including local authority partners and health services.

Required profile

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Relevant experience in fostering or Local Authority children’s social work.
• Full driving licence is desirable.
