Supervising Social Worker – Support Carers in Devon/Cornwall

About the role
We are seeking a Supervising Social Worker to provide professional supervision to carers across Devon and Cornwall. This permanent position is home‑based and supports an independent fostering agency with a strong Ofsted rating.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and support carers throughout Devon and Cornwall.
- Participate in the out‑of‑hours rota and receive additional compensation.
Required profile
- Registered with Social Work England (SWE).
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Good knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Experience in the social care sector, preferably within fostering.

What we offer
- Competitive salary of £40,000 per year plus out‑of‑hours pay.
- Home‑based working with a capped caseload of 10.
- 28 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
- Discretionary sick pay and £150/week for out‑of‑hours work.
