Supervisor Plus

About the role

The Supervisor Plus role is a brand‑new position at Butlin’s, based in Minehead. Reporting to the Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for the team during their shift, ensuring operational standards and compliance are consistently met across the department.

Key responsibilities

• Implement daily operational plans, allocating team members to the right areas to manage fluctuating guest demand.
• Cover accommodation on intake days (Monday and Friday) and provide flexible support to other departments throughout the week.
• Coach and develop staff to achieve key targets such as add‑on sales, promotions and retail upselling.
• Conduct CAFF and other departmental audits, monitor stock availability and uphold brand‑defined guest experience standards.
• Capture and act on guest feedback, monitor NPS scores and ensure continuous improvement.
• Maintain clear communication between managers and teams, and coordinate rota planning with a focus on RPRPRT.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues across the resort, other Butlin’s locations and central support teams.
• Handle people‑related tasks across the employee life‑cycle, including onboarding, performance management and development plans.

• Hands‑on operational mindset with the ability to lead a team in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Strong coaching and people‑development skills.
• Excellent attention to standards, compliance and audit processes.
• Ability to analyse guest feedback and drive improvements.
• Effective communication and relationship‑building capabilities.
