Supplier Quality Assurance Technician

About the role

The Supplier Quality Assurance Technician will support the Supplier Quality Assurance Leader in managing daily quality activities for incoming materials at our Plymouth site. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to drive supplier performance, handle non‑conforming products, and ensure compliance with GMP and health‑and‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform raw‑material incoming inspections according to specifications and prioritize work.
• Raise Quality Notifications for rejected material and follow up on root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain team on inventory requirements and maintain accurate SAP and Flex Net records.
• Collect data for raw‑material projects, conduct stock counts, and support weekly, monthly and quarterly SQA reporting.
• Provide quality support for internal audits, CAPA activities, change controls, test method validations and engineering change requests.
• Generate monthly 5S reports and participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to on‑site H&S and GMP requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a QC Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with inspection, measuring and test equipment.
• Strong organisational abilities and capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
• Aptitude for data analysis, trending and reporting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
