About the role

The Supplier Quality Tech will ensure that all supplier‑provided materials meet the company’s quality and compliance standards. This permanent position supports the procurement and supply‑chain functions of a global retail organisation based in Maidstone.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and assess supplier quality performance against internal standards.
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections of incoming supplier materials.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to resolve supplier quality issues.
• Maintain accurate records of supplier performance and generate quality reports.
• Support the resolution of non‑conformance incidents with suppliers.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
• Communicate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in quality standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or quality assurance within the retail sector.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to record‑keeping and audits.
