Supply Chain Apprentice – Warehouse Operations

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Supply Chain Apprentice to join our client’s warehouse team in Murton. Over a 12‑month apprenticeship you will support the Operations Manager and Supervisor, gaining hands‑on experience across inventory, procurement and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day warehouse duties and ensure efficient operation.
• Collect and record data using internal systems to support reporting for the supply‑chain team.
• Support inventory management initiatives aimed at cost control, savings and working‑capital optimisation.
• Log and validate supply‑chain invoices.
• Help process orders, coordinate transport scheduling and maintain quality‑control standards.
• Learn procurement processes, supplier relationship management and contract administration in line with company policies.

Required profile

• GCSE or equivalent, grade C or Level 5 in Maths and English.
• Willingness to work towards Counterbalance and Bendi FLT licences.
• Commitment to a 12‑month apprenticeship leading to the Supply Chain Warehouse standard.
