Supply Chain Business Controller

About the role

This position joins the business management team for an industrial supply chain supporting a global aerospace company. You will work within the PIOX function, which oversees resource management, budgeting, performance, risk, digital tools, resilience, and sustainability for logistics and transportation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Operational Planning (OP) for Supply Chain Operations in close cooperation with Central Finance.
• Follow up budget and resource processes with local operational teams and provide overviews to Head Office.
• Lead the resource manager network across Supply Chain Operations, collaborating with HR and Finance.
• Analyse and produce decision papers on resource strategy (demography, attrition, diversity) for a workforce of approximately 1,200 employees.
• Work on make‑buy strategy and competitiveness projects across all sites.

Required profile

• Experience in a large organisation or a similar finance‑focused role.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder maps and communicate effectively.
• Proven track record of improving financial tracking and reporting.
• Understanding of financial reporting processes and governance is advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Google Sheets expertise.
• Knowledge of macros (preferred).
• Familiarity with SAP, SAGE and AAT.
