Supply Chain Manager – £55k + Benefits

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead end‑to‑end operations for a leading UK food group in Poole, Dorset. You will be responsible for optimizing demand planning, procurement, production, warehousing, logistics and customer fulfillment to drive efficiency and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead demand, supply and inventory planning, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Oversee sourcing, procurement and supplier performance management.
• Coordinate production, warehousing, transportation and distribution activities.
• Monitor logistics costs, improve transportation efficiency and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Support S&OP processes and provide data‑driven insights for decision‑making.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities and lead digital transformation projects.
• Analyse KPIs such as OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory turns and lead times.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing full supply chain functions within a manufacturing or food environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on cost control and service excellence.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across procurement, production, sales, finance and logistics.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive change.
