Supply Chain Planner

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Supply Chain Planner to join our Supply Chain Department. The role ensures on‑time, in‑full delivery of products while maintaining inventory targets across the Rayner portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Review 0‑12 month planning horizon to guarantee optimal product supply.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure seamless product flow.
• Select transportation routes that maximise cost efficiency.
• Monitor supplier performance against quality and delivery standards.
• Allocate stock to achieve the best financial and operational outcomes.
• Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
• Identify future supply constraints and develop mitigation options.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives and product phase‑in/phase‑out projects.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in supply chain management (demand/supply planning, forecasting, production or logistics planning).
• Degree level education or equivalent supply‑chain experience.
• Proven track record in project work and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, meet performance targets and stay calm under pressure.

• APICS certification (preferred)
